End of Summer Fun!!!!!!!

Well - It's been a loooooonnnnnnggggggg time since we last updated, so we'll try to not bore you with too many details but give you a quick synopsis & lots of pictures.  Since our trip in the beginning of August to Lake Chelan, we had a visit from Dave & Cinda Taylor, a camping trip with friends to the Dworshack Reservoir in Idaho, a wonderful evening with Uncle Bart & Aunti-D, a WSU Cougar football Saturday w/ Grammy & Grandpa Pearson (the Cougs won!!!), a Labor Day weekend trip to Boyer Park on the Snake with Kris & Galen & fam, Our First Lewiston Round-up Rodeo, the start of school for dad & daycare for Aislyn, and a camping trip to Lake Chelan with a bunch of people (Thanks to Sarah & Jason Sanderson for organizing this trip and the boat ride)!

As always, we had a ton of fun with all the individuals involved!  We wish we were retired & rich so we could just continue to visit everyone!  There are some many of you that we've missed...we'll get there we promise!  Here are some pictures of our fun and excitement at the end of this summer 2011!

Aislyn is now 7 months (the first few pictures she's 6 months) and is still the happy, easy-going little twerp that she's always been.  She really loves gospel meeting - she thinks everyone is there to listen to her!!!!!

Aislyn loves kicking things and putting her feet up...we're a little worried about what her work ethic is going to be like!

Grandpa Ted brought lots of work for Geoff this fall in the form of 2 chords of wood.  Jocelyn & Aislyn were very excited as now the temp in the house this winter might reach 65!

For Labor Day, the water was warm and it was actually hot!!!!  First Labor Day in a while that we actually wanted to swim.

Getting ready for Aislyn's first rodeo!  Aislyn slept through most of it, once she got used the the 8 second buzzer.  At first we just thought her cries were for the cowboys...then we figured out she was hungry & tired!

The mornings @ Lake Chelan were a little chilly...the princess hat was just what the doctor ordered.

Owen Sanderson & Aislyn were hilarious together...Owen trying to feed Aislyn, Aislyn trying to smack Owen over the head...they were great pals!

A few of the crew at Lake Chelan...The Dickie's, Sanderson's, Barne's, Lavergne's, Precht's, Grillo's, Field's...was a lot of fun with lots of kids running around.  We hope to make this into a tradition in the future!

Aislyn & Abby are great friends...The other day Aislyn was sitting there & Abby brought her the rope...Aislyn of course obliged and grabbed it, and Abby promptly played tug-of-war and pulled Aislyn on her face!  Aislyn never let go...it was quite hilarious.

Aislyn is getting so close to crawling...she has pushed herself up to all fours now and is rocking back and forth.  When she pushes off, she faceplants, so Abby's toys are safe for now!

Even though she's close, her airplane pose is still her favorite.
