Cousins!

Well, let's see...We finished last blog by saying Abby's (our dog) toys/bones were safe.  Let us update that now - Aislyn seems to think that anything on the floor is fair game and that nothing tastes better then a freshly chewed on Bone!!!!!!!  Needless to say, Aislyn has now figured out the art of crawling...We guess that's what happens after 2 weekends with cousins teaching Aislyn the ropes!!!!

Since we last updated, we've enjoyed having a couple of weekends with Geoff's sisters' families, the Gordons & Groomses.  2 weekends ago was spent here at home with The Groomses as they came down for a visit.  Their oldest son had his Championship 5th/6th grade football at UI's Kibbie Dome.  It was fun to watch him play, and Pearson caught 2 touchdown passes in a winning effort.  We enjoyed the time with them.

This past weekend, we traveled over to Hoquiam to see the Gordons.  We still own a house in Hoquiam (thankfully it's being rented) so it was also a business trip...yeah rrriigghtttt.  We ended up taking Monday off as a travel day - business was really difficult so it took all of Saturday & Sunday to recover ;).  It was really nice to have 2 full day with Lance, Laurie & Fam in their wonderful new house!!!  Thanks for the great weekend of just hanging out - we needed it!

So, while y'all might read the actual post, we all know you want to see pictures, so here you go!

Aislyn's first attempts at crawling...she's now fully mobile, which is fun, but...

Well, as you can see, Abby's not quite sure if she's ready for it either.

Her moving has definitely encouraged her appetite...not that she didn't have an appetite before!

We think the extra upper-body exercise has increased the potency of her right hook though!

This is a familiar occurance - Abby loves being on our laps, especially if Aislyn is on it too.  Not that Aislyn minds too much though.

This has made practicing the guitar a lot easier - playing for your daughter (who can't tell if your terrible or not) makes it a lot of fun.

Cora always is great with Aislyn - This was fun to watch.

The Cabella's Christmas Catalog is apparently not just for the boys.  Aislyn enjoyed looking at the pictures with Uncle Galen.

Self-imposed discipline...Time-out!

Jocelyn was doing some crafts, Geoff was working on the computer, and Aislyn was reclining with her book...A picture perfect family, right!?!

Aislyn loved Uncle Lance's glasses, or maybe it was something else...

But in the end, she came away happy!

Cousin Kort loved on Aislyn and also gave her walking lessons - we're pretty sure we're not even close to that stage yet!

Cousin Maddie made sure that Aislyn always had something to play with, or chew on, or cuddle with...Maddie was a great help bringing Aislyn whatever she needed, or didn't need.

Aislyn also enjoyed her Cousin Sydney!

We're not sure if any sleeping was going on here - but Geoff was enjoying himself none-the-less.

It was really fun watching the cousins play with Aislyn...she never wanted for attention or toys.

Another - the smiles and giggles were all worth it!

Monday morning before Kort & Jake had to go to school, Kort asked to hold Aislyn 1 more time.  Aislyn enjoyed her cousin time, along with her time with MyKucky.
