July 2012

The rest of July has been a whirl-wind tour of the Northwest.

We went to Grammy & Grampa Pearson's the 20-22 in Omak.  Wierd to think that we hadn't been their since Christmas!  We went up to Oroville & Lake Osoyoos and spent time with our friends up there.  Had a great day on the lake and a raging kickball game at the Zosel's after.  We had a lot of fun with Monica, Heather and the rest of the gang.  (We didn't take any pictures...oops)

On Sunday, Jocelyn went home to Colton while Aislyn and Geoff drove with Grammy & Grampa back over to Hoquiam to finish the Beach Home.  We worked hard Monday & Tuesday, and then back to Omak on Wednesday and out Thursday home to Colton.  Thanks Grammy & Grampa for driving Geoff all over and taking care of Aislyn!!!!!!

Jocelyn had all the camping gear packed up, so the moment we got home, we said our hello's, packed up the car and headed off to Dworshack State Park in Idaho for 2 nights of camping.  Our dear Friends "Uncle" Bart & "Auntie" Dee met us Friday morning and we had fun zipping around the lake with Grampa's Zodiac.  Thanks for camping with us!!!

Then, 3 days later on Aug 1, we were back off camping @ Lake Roosevelt with Geoff's entire family!  More on that trip in a later post.

So, pictures of the house and our 1st camping trip (there aren't many)!

We ended up completely re-doing the porch joists, posts & floor boards.  Then a fresh coat of paint, and viola - you could actually open the porch door!

Painted, trimmed & looking a whole lot better Finished then before!

If you don't remember what it looked like (scroll down to the previous post) Ted does wonderful wood work!

As we were saying, we wished we were remodeling our own house that we live in!!!!!!!  The bathroom ended up looking better then we cold have hoped - especially the new paint and vanity!  Thanks Grampa - we'll be getting orders to you soon!

The only pictures of Dworshack - Aislyn playing in the pot with Auntie Dee carefully observing!

One of the few times we were home in July - Aislyn is a climber, and loves playing the piano.  She has learned how to turn it on, turn it up, and even has made it play itself!!

Too much fun!!!!!!!
