Summer Fun!!!

Well, it's been 3 months since our last post, so it's about time to update y'all with pictures and some quick narrative.

We'll Condense these three months into separate entries, so that there are more pictures.

End of April to Early May:

April ended with us going to Bob & Nyla's for the weekend of the 22nd.  We were able to go to the baptism and then spend the weekend with the cousins.  We all were invited to Chris & Lindsey's for dinner, a wonderful one, and then a really late trip back home!

The only picture we took of Chris - at least it's a typical pose!

Austin & Houston...looking forward to their wedding in August.

Bob and Nyla.

Kirk & Sally

Aislyn at 14.5 months

Aislyn had a great time playing with Uncle Bob and Exeter

May started with Geoff's sister Jeannie calling and saying, "we want to come down there for the weekend, and go for a bike ride - you up for it?"  We were, so off to Lewiston, ID we went.  We had so much fun, the trip inspired us to buy a new bike rack and car hitch.  Thanks for the inspiration Bean and Ryan!

1st warm day without rain!!!

.
Aislyn loves being outside and digging in the dirt

Aislyn is also beginning a lifelong love of tennis!

Our lovely biking trip getting off to it's start!

We didn't have a carrier (we do now!) so we were grateful that Logan was willing to share his!

Especially when he didn't mind being the pillow!

Aislyn had a great time playing with her cousins.

And her Auntie Bean.

And she really enjoyed time with Uncle Ryan.

The new bean bag offered plenty of entertainment for the younguns.

Ryan also helped us move gravel to begin finishing our new fire pit. So to celebrate a working pit, we had some college students out for a fun fire, smores and nachos - even though it was a slight bit cold...

The middle of May brought some warm weather, and another gathering to enjoy the fire pit - now with the first row of retaining wall bricks and the gravel complete.

It's a little scary with a fire and a toddler, but Aislyn is fast learning the word HOOOOOOOOTTTTT!!!!  It was a tad bit chilly.

Inside, Aislyn loves to entertain herself with books.

And Geoff's rocker from when he was a little boy.

We enjoyed a little warmer potluck and campfire.

Aislyn has learned to use the rocker as a multi-faceted tool of entertainment...
