Visits...

Well, it's been a week or to, so time for an update...(hopefully the don't bore you!)  Since the 4th, we have been working and enjoying the semi-summer weather.  It seems it can only stay warm for a day 'round here.  Finally did put the small air-conditioner unit in our bedroom...Used it 3 times in 2 weeks.  Yep, feeling like the coast!!!!

We have been working on our deck, refinishing it with an interesting textured paint/seal.  Finished product looks kinda like trek-decking.  Will have pictures of it when it gets finished.  Unfortunately, they recommend not applying if rain is expected w/n 24 hrs.  What was supposed to have taken 1 week, has now taken a month, and we're only 1/3rd finished.  Hopefully we'll get it done before the snow flies!!!

We were thrilled to have our dear friends Jeremiah & Becky and their 9 month old daughter Aspen for an evening last weekend.  We went to the farmer's market, talked and Geoff got his Settler's fix with Jeremiah.  On Sunday, we had lunch at our elder's and then spent some time on the Snake River with James & Annie Kratche who are living in Grangeville.  We had fun kayaking around and being entertained by some very interesting individuals.  Unfortunately, we didn't bring our camera to get footage of that!!!!

A quick update on Aislyn - she is rolling over completely, pulling her knees up and pushing her forehead into the ground.  She saw Aspen moving and thought that must be the thing to do.  She's "talking" a lot, smiling and being a joy to be around.  As we heard in meeting Sunday, we truly have a blessed life!!!

Here's some pictures!

Aislyn @ 20 weeks.

This is right before she decided that she was hungry and mad...

Aislyn now actually kinda enjoys her tummy time.  Toys seem to help with that!

Look, I'm flying!  A favorite pose after rolling over.

Aspen showing Aislyn the ropes to crawling.

Aspen did quite well with Aislyn.  It was sure fun to get to see Aspen in person...she's a cutie!

As always, Jer was willing to get down and play...Aislyn was a little disappointed there wasn't any hair to pull, but that's what a buzz cut does for ya.  Keeps yourself safe from little fingers!

Jer, Becky & Aspen...Thanks so much for including us in your trip!

Aspen was a little camera shy, but she sure is cute!

It's tough taking a picture of a mirror!  Aislyn was having her first ride on the shoulder of dad.  We're pretty sure Geoff was having as much fun as Aislyn was!

Little better color, not great focus, but you get the point.

This was just after Aislyn's nose-dive into the keyboard.

However, sh was soon back for more...noise that is!

She's pretty proud of herself.

It's a lot of fun watching her development.  We look forward to having more friends and family visit!  Good Night.
