Sunsets & Rainbows (5/18)

Geoff only professes to be a fledgling camera picture taker...not a photographer because that would insinuate a rare ability to take professional quality photographs.  However, after our particularly nasty spring, Geoff was inspired to try his hand in photography.  After a particularly nasty rainy, cold day, we had what you could say was a glimpse of God's handiwork.  Pictures never seem to do justice (especially photo's from a rookie!) but here are some of our favorites from that evening!

This is what it started out as...wish the colors were as vivid as they were in person!  This is our view from our back deck looking west over Colton and the Palouse.

Geoff then went to fire-up the bar-b-que on the front porch and saw this!

It just kept getting a more vivid as a light rain (see the rain drop on the left!) started falling...Imagine that, rain this spring!

Then a double rainbow right on top of our garage!  Sadly, we didn't find the pot of gold.  I guess even rainbows have been hit by our difficult financial times!

And then back looking west...

It just kept getting more and more beautiful!!!!

Then sadly the amazing fireworks began coming to an end.
Reminded us of God's great promises and his amazing handiwork in crafting this beautiful earth.  And to imagine, heaven is going to be better!!!!!! Reminded us how thankful we can be of everything we have been given.
